Free-roam VR is worth an evening. It is not worth two hours of I-20. Here is what the trip actually looks like from the east side.
Atlanta's free-roam venues sit roughly 30 to 37 miles west of Conyers, on the far side of the connector. Times are typical off-peak estimates and vary with traffic.

Stonecrest and Lithonia are about 17 minutes out on I-20, Covington about 18. The Atlanta free-roam venues sit roughly 30 miles west of Conyers, on the other side of the downtown connector.
Sandbox VR runs two metro locations, at The Interlock on Howell Mill Road and at The Battery. They book groups of two to six into one cinematic experience per session, with haptic vests and a highlight reel at the end; it's a polished, single-format product. GravityX is built as a park rather than a studio: four different attraction types under one roof, groups up to 20 in the arena, and a room you stay in for the evening instead of a room you're booked into for one show.
No. Everything is provided and every session starts with a staff walkthrough. First-timers make up a large share of our guests, and the free-roam arena is the easiest format to pick up cold. If you can walk, you can play.
The free-roam arenas hold groups of up to 20 players, which is why we get the birthday parties, youth groups, and corporate teams that don't fit in a six-person booking. Smaller groups and walk-in pairs are welcome too.
Tuesday through Friday we open at 5:00 PM and run to 10:00 PM. Saturday is 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Sunday is 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Mondays are reserved for private bookings. If you want a weekday-daytime slot for a group, call 770-407-8782 and we'll open for you.
