Blast And Block
Versus is retro-futuristic laser tag built around a simple two-handed loadout: a V-99 blaster in one hand for offense, a shield in the other for defense. You are firing and blocking at the same time, which changes the rhythm of a match compared to a standard point-and-shoot shooter. Timing your shield matters as much as your aim.
Matches run as Team Battle or Free-For-All across six levels, with a Normal or Pro difficulty split for groups who want a harder read on incoming fire. Rounds run short, from three to fifteen minutes, so Versus works well stacked back to back as a series of quick rematches rather than one long session. For groups who want straightforward PvP without a lot of extra mechanics layered on top, it's one of the more immediate options in the HeroZone lineup, and the shield mechanic gives newer players a way to survive a bad opening exchange instead of getting picked off before they find their footing.
